CVPR 2026 to Debut AI Demonstrations Redefining Applied Intelligence
Highly visual demos will showcase breakthrough applications in robotics, augmented reality, healthcare, and next-generation AI systems
WHAT: The Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) annually unveils the latest research in support of artificial intelligence (AI), embodied AI and robotics, multi-modal AI, wearable AI, spatial computing, AI agents, and much more. Co-sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society (CS) and the Computer Vision Foundation (CVF), CVPR 2026, through its nearly 30 demonstrations, will feature technology companies and research teams demonstrating breakthrough innovations and real-world applications shaping the future of AI.
WHY: The CVPR 2026 demonstrations will bring emerging technologies to life through interactive, real-time showcases of early-stage innovations, including:
- Agentic Gaze Analysis with AR Interaction, which will demo GazeAnywhere, a promptable gaze model that estimates gaze targets in real time from natural-language subject descriptions, enabling clinicians and researchers to more rigorously identify neurodevelopmental conditions like autism. (Friday, 5 June, 10:45)
- MIBURI: Towards Expressive Interactive Gesture Synthesis, which will present MIBURI, the first online, causal framework for generating expressive full-body gestures and facial expressions synchronized with real-time spoken dialogue from a large language model (LLM). (Friday, 5 June, 16:00)
- ARVRag: Real-Time Retrieval-Augmented Object Detection and Guidance in Augmented Reality, which will present ARVRag, an interactive augmented reality system that enables real-time object detection, retrieval, and guidance without requiring model retraining, instead combining visual embedding, similarity-based retrieval, and LLMs to recognize and explain objects on the fly. (Saturday, 6 June, 11:45)
- RnG, which presents a unified transformer that enables interactive 3D modeling from partial observations allowing users to freely explore and progressively reveal unseen regions of an object. (Friday, 5 June, 16:00)
- EgoMedAgent: Towards Evidence-based Egocentric Assistant for Clinical Perception and Action, which will demo EgoMedAgent, an AR-based multimodal clinical AI system for real-time decision support in dynamic medical encounters based on first-person audio and video captured from the clinician’s perspective and maintains encounter context continuously over time. (Friday, 5 June, 11:45)
A full list of demos will be available in the conference program and app.
WHEN/WHERE: CVPR 2026 takes place 3-7 June in Denver, Colo., at the Colorado Convention Center. The Expo takes place 5-7 June in the Exhibit Hall of the Colorado Convention Center.
Demos will take place 10:45-12:45 and 16:00-18:00, on 5 June; 11:45-13:45 and 16:45-18:45, on 6 June; and 11:45-13:45, on 7 June, in Exhibit Hall F.
