CVPR 2026 Showcases How AI Is Powering the Next Era of Robotics Innovation

World’s leading computer vision and artificial intelligence conference highlights real-world breakthroughs shaping the next generation of intelligent machines

Los Alamitos, Calif., 14 April 2026 — The 2026 Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Conference (CVPR), which annually unveils the latest research in support of artificial intelligence (AI), embodied AI and robotics, multi-modal AI, wearable AI, spatial computing, AI agents, and much more, will serve as one of the foremost forums to showcase how advances in AI are accelerating next-gen robotics from concept to real-world deployment. Co-sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society (CS) and the Computer Vision Foundation (CVF), CVPR, an annual launchpad for breakthroughs in AI, and this year for robotics, will convene the leading research, companies, and applications redefining what robots can see, understand, and do.

Through its program, CVPR 2026, which takes place 3-7 June at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colo., U.S.A., will reveal how AI is fueling rapid innovation in robotics, automation, and embodied intelligence. The event will feature numerous workshops with speakers from leading research institutions, labs, and tech companies exploring the latest advancements, alongside competitions designed to power the next era of innovation. For example, the 2026 CVPR Embodied AI Workshop will host the ManipArena Competition, a real-robot manipulation challenge that evaluates models’ physical reasoning, generalization, and decision-making across 20 real-world tasks, helping measure progress toward reproducible, general-purpose embodied intelligence. In concert, technical paper presentations, which are still being refined, will address the increasing intersection of AI, computer vision, and robotic perception. Papers speaking to today’s advances in embodied AI and robotics will pave the way for next-generation developments.

Additionally, some of the world’s most prominent AI and robotics companies, together accounting for more than 75% of the CVPR expo, will showcase and demo next-generation AI and robotic technologies. Companies, including those who will be on hand at CVPR, have invested  heavily in robotics. In 2025, global robotics funding surpassed 10.3 billion USD. And this year, the broader global robotics market is projected to reach 124.37 billion USD, signaling significant growth and advancement in the year ahead. The companies at CVPR will be on hand to showcase those advancements and prove how rapidly the boundaries of what’s possible are being redefined.
