CVPR 2023 Keynotes to Deliver the “What’s Next” in AI
Top Executives at Meta, Robust.AI, and Allen Institute for AI to Headline This Year’s Event

WHAT: The Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Conference (CVPR) is the preeminent computer vision event for new research in support of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), deep learning, and much more.

WHO/WHEN: This year, the CVPR 2023 Program Committee has organized an impressive lineup of keynote speakers who are set to deliver the latest on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and where it is going. Keynote speakers include:

  • Rodney Brooks, Founder & Chief Technical Officer of Robust.AI (Tuesday, 20 June, 9-10:00 am PDT)                                Brooks is Founder and CTO of Robust.AI, a world-class company with experts in AI, robotics, and human-centered design, currently working on developing a vision-based, collaborative mobile robot to enhance warehouse logistics. He formerly served as director of the MIT Artificial Intelligence Lab and the founding director of the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL).
  • Yejin Choi, Senior Director of Common Sense Intelligence Research at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2) and Brett Helsel Professor of Computer Science at the University of Washington (Wednesday, 21 June 21, 9-10:00 am PDT)Choi is the Senior Director of Common Sense Intelligence Research at AI2 and Brett Helsel Professor in the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington. Her research interests include language grounding with vision, physical and social commonsense, language generation and conversational AI, and AI for social good.
  • Larry Zitnick, Research Manager on the Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) Team at Meta AI and Affiliate Associate Professor at the University of Washington (Thursday, 22 June 22, 9-10:00 am PDT)                                                            Zitnick is the Research Manager at Meta AI and an Affiliate Associate Professor at the University of Washington. Zitnick’s work is currently focused on scientific applications of AI and machine learning, such as the discovery of new catalysts for renewable energy applications.
