Authors
Each paper (MAIN or WORKSHOP) MUST be registered under an AUTHOR registration.
Virtual registrations will not cover a paper submission. If circumstances prevent you from attending in person to present your paper, you may attend virtually but you must register and pay for your paper under an in-person registration.
During registration you will have an opportunity to select that you will attend virtually and this can be changed at any time.

Payment/Invoice information:
The only acceptable payment is via credit card through the registration site. We will not accept wire payment, check or PO. A receipt will be issued upon completion. Please use the address needed for your receipt during registration. You can change this yourself if you need to.
There will be a $25 fee assessed for anyone needing to change the credit card on their registration.
All Full Passport Registrations include: Admission to all technical sessions, all tutorials, all workshops, any virtual and live events hosted by CVPR, and online access to the proceedings.
Refund Policy
All refund requests must be made via email to Nicole Finn. All cancellations will be subject to a $65 cancellation fee before May 25, 2023, 11:59pm ET. NO REFUNDS will be made after May 25, 2023. You are allowed to change the name on the registration without penalty and you can do this by logging into your registration yourself.
Due to the increased time it takes to process visa requests in Canada, we have amended our cancellation fee policy for authors of submitted papers to CVPR 2023. Non-Authors are still welcome to register and request a visa letter but the cancellation policy remains unchanged.
If you have submitted your paper and need to request a visa, please register. We will reduce the cancellation fee to just $25 if your paper is not accepted to CVPR 2023 and you do not wish to attend virtually or in person. We are not able to provide a letter if you have not registered. No exceptions.
We will still require every paper to have one registered author. You must select the ‘Author’ registration.
Visa Letter Request
For a visa letter request:
Register here. Within about 15 minutes, you should receive and email with instructions on how to get an invitation letter. If you don't receive the email, read on:
- Registering at the link above creates a registraton at Aventri. That registration is complete, and you only need to follow these steps if you need a Letter of Invitation.
- Within 15 minutes, a matching profile at https://cvf.thecvf.com will be created if one doesn't already exist. If the account was created, it will have no password. Use reset password to set (or reset) your password. If you are logged in at https://cvpr.thecvf.com, you will see your name in the black navigation bar. If you are not logged in, click "Login" in the navigation bar.
- Visit https://cvpr.thecvf.com/InvitationLetter to generate your invitation letter. The letter will be emailed to you. We do not store your passport number or birth date.
Updating a Registration
You can update your registration or make a substitution - select already registered when following the registration link and log into your account.
Code of Conduct
CVPR 2023 is committed to providing an atmosphere that encourages the free expression and exchange of ideas. It is the policy of CVPR 2023 that all participants of conference activities (workshops, tutorials, exhibitions, poster sessions, etc) will enjoy a welcoming environment free from unlawful discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
Harassment will not be tolerated in any form, including but not limited to harassment based on gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, age, religion or any other status protected by laws in which the conference or program is being held. Harassment includes the use of abusive, offensive or degrading language, intimidation, stalking, harassing photography or recording, inappropriate physical contact, sexual imagery and unwelcome sexual advances. Any report of harassment at one of our activities will be addressed immediately. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
Exhibitors should not use sexualized images, activities, or other material in their booths and must refrain from the use of sexualized clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise creating a sexualized environment. Speakers should not use sexual language or images without scientific purpose, or any language or images that would constitute harassment as defined above in their talks.
Violations should be reported to the conference ombud (ombud-cvpr2023@googlegroups.com). All reports will be treated confidentially. The ombud will investigate and prepare a brief statement of facts, a conclusion (proven/not proven) using a preponderance of the evidence standard, and a recommended sanction if a violation is proven. The conference standards committee will vote to either adopt or not adopt this recommendation and may modify it. The decision of the committee is final. Sanctions may include, but are not limited to, exclusion from one or more conference events, exclusion from the entire conference, removal of material from the online record of the conference, referral to the violator’s university or employer, and referral to law enforcement. In no case will registration fees or expenses be refunded by the conference.
All CVPR 2023 attendees and exhibitors are expected to comply with these standards of behavior.
Badge Policy
Access to all CVPR activities will be allowed only to people wearing CVPR 2023 badges. Our policy is not to reprint badges or replace lost badges. If you lose your badge, you will be able to purchase a new registration at the current on-site rates, but only if on-site registration will be offered. Please keep track of your badge and make sure you bring it each day.
